A journey into the realm of Gods, Goddesses and the human heart

Thursday, April 25 was the first of three lunar eclipses in 2013, which was visible with greater precision in Europe, Africa, Asia and Oceania.

A lunar eclipse occurs when our satellite – in its monthly rotation around the Earth — passes through the shadow that projects our planet in space.

This phenomenon can only occur when the Moon is opposite to the Sun, in its full phase and when they are close to the Lunar Nodes. This one, was in the sign of Scorpio and was particularly strong due to the Mars-Saturn opposition which were close to the Sun and the Moon, respectively. Boston bombs occurred a few days earlier and the collapse of the building in Bangladesh.

A Solar Eclipse takes place when there is a New Moon, near the nodes, the one on May 10th in the sign of Taurus, brought us the release of the three teenagers from Cleveland, kidnapped by Ariel Castro almost 10 years ago.

The next weekend is the Full Moon and Lunar Eclipse of this month, which is the one before the last lunar eclipse of the year, which occurs on October 18th.

For this one the Moon is at 4th Sag 08′ and the sun at 4º Gemini 08′ which encourages us in the search for truth, in search of experience vs. intellectual understanding.

Today while I was having breakfast, watching the news, I noticed that they are now starting to emerge videos on You Tube and Twitter, about what happened the night of April 19 when Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, younger brother of the two Boston bombers and the last in being captured. It’s beginning to emerge the facts about the policeman shot dead in the stand off against the brothers, and the fact that it wasn’t the brothers who shot the serviceman but the Police. Neighbors at the event, took these videos from their homes and now they have published them, where it is clear that they were not the brothers but the same policemen who lost control in the middle of the excessive shooting. Also, videos of the atrocities occurring daily in Syria are coming to light, reminding us that we don’t seem to learn from our mistakes of the past and that our beliefs instead of freeing us they make us slaves. Instead of making us see other compatriots as simple human beings and brothers, we see them only as the enemy. The sad thing is that, they are neighbors or in many cases, members of the same family, as it is the case in almost all civil wars, as it happened in Spain at the beginning of the 20th century.-Now, more than 50 years will be needed, to heal these wounds being committed today. Two generations of people enslaved by hatred. This is the perfect example that when we are afraid or feel threatened, Pluto which in my view is the connection with the inner beast, overwhelmed our mind and the only important thing is to survive and morality disappears.

Ultimately, the truth always emerges, as Sagittarius teaches us. Eclipses are a good example of: “men proposes and God decides”. I would say: “we propose and the Gods decide”, which puts us one more face to face with the theme of “free will”.

Eclipses of the Sun or new moons initiate projects and situations or eclipses of Moon and full moons, bring, in many cases, resolution or at least, awareness. This eclipse activates the Mutable cross, which particularly affects those who have planets or the ascendant in the first 10 degrees of mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and PISCES). It reminds us once again, that the key to our survival is the awareness that we are ONE. If we refuse to see this reality we will not survive, we will create wars and destroy the planet. If the Earth gets sick and dies, we die, we will end as a species. A simple sneeze from the Earth, as it is in the case of an earthquake, for example, and thousands die. The truth is knocking on our door is that we must not only find a solution to this global financial crisis, but instead a deep investigation on who we really are is needed to reinvent ourselves, in view that our current systems are collapsing and we need to find a new way of being.

Until when, i wonder, we will use public money to strengthen the arsenal of weapons, or continue nuclear tests in our seas, possibly causing earthquakes and tsunamis to neighbouring countries, as North Korea has just done. We must pay attention to the next few weeks and see what happens, in Japan or the coast of Hawaii, as it has already happened in the past, after these tests.

These are moments consciousness needs readjustment and we should express our opinion. Speak out, write, protest. We are the majority and in spite of the apparent power of the minorities, we are a bigger crowd of people.
Unfortunately this eclipse is in square to Neptune , and by this I don’t mean that Neptune is a bad planet, much less now that it receives the trine of Saturn and Ceres and Vesta. But Neptune doesn’t let us see things clearly. so while these energies are wonderful to express ourselves creatively, they are not so great to make important decisions. For this reason, it is better to wait. On the 21st, within the next 3 days, the square between Uranus in Aries and Pluto in Capricorn, becomes exact again. The third of the seven squares that these two planets will make between now and the end of the 2015. Issues that we have in our hands manifest themselves more clearly and we have no choice but to accept our situation and think carefully what should be done.

Jupiter, the ruler of Sagittarius, still in Gemini, joins Mercury and Venus 3 days after the eclipse in the last 10 degrees of Gemini, forming a trine Juno in Aquarius. Perhaps another clear example that the truth, nowadays emerges through technology and social networks. This is a positive aspect, full of optimism and will help us find the light at the end of the tunnel, in search of the truth in our lives, our relationships, our profession and our place in the society in which we live.

Remember that even if don’t have the Sun or the Moon or the ascendant in Sagittarius, this angle Geminis-sagitario falls somewhere in your chart. It is there, where the answer you are looking for may be during this eclipse. If what emerges is conflict, is where pair should work find the harmony that your soul needs.

To start, this is one of three eclipses near the South node, which speak to us of understanding and accepting the past, to finally let go of it. If we keep thinking about yesterday, not to accept or learn from it, but to keep engaged, then the process will be even more difficult.
Eclipses are  powerful new and full moons, and this one, as many are, is particularly impressive, since the Sun and the Moon at 20° in the constellation of Taurus find themselves accompanied by Mars 14°, Mercury 17°, Pallas 20º (exactly in conjunction to the Sun-Moon), Sedna 23°  and the Lunar Nodes at 17º. Despite not being in Aries, but in Taurus, the spirit of this lunation is action, as Mars, Pallas and Sedna, three warriors in their own right, invites us to take control of our life and finally put an end to financial dependency, constraints imposed by others, but always with the wise control of Saturn in Scorpio that reminds us daily, that excess can be very costly. Saturn that has gone through the opposition to the Sun and Mars, for the April 25 Lunar eclipse and continues to be a strong influence, for being in the opposite sign of this lunation and for having been there for the lunar eclipse.
Power struggles with official figures, like lawyers, offices belonging to the establishment become unbearable and we must find ways to develop our life without relying completely on this. How to do it? Perhaps by becoming aware of what we must respect and obey, for being part of a community, but without finding ourselves completely at the mercy of it.
Taurus is a sign which speaks to us of pleasure, of beauty, of creativity, of the need for financial security that will allow us to enjoy life, at the same time that we strive to create a career and raise a family. If we let the pleasure out, Venus, ruler of Taurus, will remind us immediately that life, without pleasure, makes no sense. But what’s pleasure? In principle, pleasure is to be able to make any or a particular activity, while actually enjoying the process. Pleasure, does not have to mean empty, nonsensical fun, abusing the body and health. Pleasure does not have to be only, “sex, drugs and rock’n roll”. Today we have learned that the pleasure of being healthy, enjoying our body and spirit’s health is fundamental. Improving ourselves on a daily basis, developing an activity that allows us to feel better every day, by the mere practice of it, is one of the great pleasures of life, even if it involves hard work. Cooking is also a great pleasure for many (especially for Taurus).
Most of the arts can be a conduit of extraordinary pleasure. Dance, painting, cooking, sculpturing, not only on a stone, but also our own body, through feeding our senses with beautiful natural environments, for example, perfumes, color, food. The sensual pleasure, does not have to mean sex, as emphasized by Pallas Athena, which is part of this constellation of planets that accompany this eclipse in Taurus. Pallas does not care for sex, she enjoy another type of union, more intimate even than sex, which is soul to soul communication. Understanding the other, loving and supporting the other, get us closer perhaps than sex to one another in a unique and certainly intimate way. Sex is pleasure, but for Taurus sensuality is perhaps more pleasure than sexuality.
The influence of Pallas and Sedna in this lunation also speak of the power of the feminine, the re-emergence of the Goddess. Pallas in particular talks about the power of finding the balance between feminine and masculine in our psyche, Sedna, reminds us that women are the ones who connect more easily with the instinctual world, with the Ethereal world, it is women who find easier to know things before understanding them or being able to explain them scientifically. The instinctive comes before science. Finding the academic explanation, comes after what we already know instinctively.
Science is trying to explain the memory of cells and everything else we transmit genetically to the next generation, in addition to the DNA. We instinctively already know it. Today, thanks to family constellations and other therapeutic techniques, we can bring to our consciousness and understand how we have been influenced by the pains and joys of our grandparents and great-grandparents. Soon we will be able to explain allergies and food intolerances from another source. We know that the ancestral memory drive us much more than what we’d like to admit, and perhaps there lies the true meaning of the word Fate. After all, Destiny or Moira, mean: “our allotment”, what’s been given to us, with no apparent personal choice.
Nor should we forget the great water Trine, formed by Saturn in Scorpio, Neptune and Chiron in Pisces, and Vesta and Ceres in Cancer, something we have never experienced before, which is supporting us in our quest and return to the Goddess. Venus draws near to the square to Neptune and Chiron, 14 and 22 respectively, time to connect with the sacred, with universal love, with the possibility of curing our personal relationships, understanding and accepting that we are all humans traveling on the same ship, called Earth, and that the mistakes and successes of each of us, sadden and benefit ALL of us. A time for Acceptance and Tolerance. Juno is in a T-square to the Nodes for this eclipse, reaffirming once again that the solution to our relationships is the acceptance and development of the male and female aspects of our psyche, as a formula for harmony and peace in our relationship and with the opposite sex and with the world. If a man only acts from the masculine, always, he cannot understand the woman, or relate to the life cycles and to his own vulnerability and vice versa, if the woman does not develop her entrepreneurial and independent side of her psyche,  she will depend on and resent men. Venus seeks balance in Libra, but also looks for harmony in Taurus.
Finally Pluto opposes Ceres and Vesta and they  re-activate the square to Uranus in Aries, which will form exact once more on the 21st at 11 ° 14′ of Capricorn and Aries, respectively, reminding us once again that perhaps the response to this global crisis, is really the return of the Goddess, to Nature, so that we can abandon the wanting more when there isn’t any more to have. We must return to respect the cycles of Nature, the seasons and above all respect the interconnectedness with all living beings, not just humans.
Use the energies of this powerful eclipse to review your set of values and let go of what is blocking your progress. Enjoy the energies of Taurus, to live a life more in contact with Venus, with beauty, with creativity, with Sharing.

Many wars and political changes often occur in the period between Eclipses and many times exactly on the day of the eclipse. Very often in the lunar eclipses which occur in full moons.
Most of us live through the eclipses without even being conscious of it, or at the most, we read in newspapers that one approaches, in most cases, if they are visible, where we live. Even so, we more or less know that there are 2 or 3 eclipses each year, regardless if they are solar or Lunar. Even so, the truth is that eclipses are cosmic events that recur each year and more, follow a pattern and form families that have a starting point and last thousands of years.
Eclipses form when a New Moon (Solar Eclipses) or Full Moon (Lunar Eclipses) pick near the angle of the Lunar nodes, those points where the orbit of the Moon intersects the path of the Earth around the Sun. Every eclipse belongs to a series called Saros Series. Each Saros series has its own number sequence. A feature of the Saros Series is that each one of them start, as eclipses, near the North node or the South node of the Moon. They have a duration of nearly 1300 years, between 12 and 13 centuries and contains some 70 eclipses and when a series ends another one begins. This full moon belongs to the Saros 112 group, at 15N, and is the eclipse No. 65 of this series of 72, which began with an eclipse on year 0859 may 20 and will end of July 12, 2139. That means that the total duration of this series will be of 1280 years.
In the natal chart of that first eclipse in this series, Mars was in conjunction with Saturn and in this eclipse on April 25, Mars conjunct the Sun about 5º Taurus, is in opposition Saturn which is right between the Moon at 5 degrees of Scorpio and the North node.
Saturn with the Moon speaks of controlled and reserved emotions, but with the opposition of Mars and the Sun, I think that it describes pretty well, the situation with North Korea at this time. Many threats of war (MARS) with a blockade formed by USA, Japan and China, surprisingly! agreeing for once. Venus in Taurus is located in conjunction to the South node and the asteroid Pallas Athena, as if our independence was the most important thing at this moment. Uranus and Pluto are on their way to another exact square, the 4th time the’ll meet, on May 21st. The need to escape from situations that make us feel dependent on others will be intense.
When we speak of any of these planets and especially the Association of Mars and Saturn, the neck hairs are tipped. But this time many trigoni are signs of water, which seems augur a peaceful resolution to the situation in question. But mercury in Aries, is quickly approaching with Eris, which also describes, more warlike verbiage.
And what will happen on a personal level? If you have planets or angles at about 5º of Taurus-Scorpio, or Leo – Aquarius, it is possible that situations that have been strained will explode and end up sorting themselves out, putting an end to a period of tension and unresolved issues as well. Even so, it is possible that we make important decisions that mean saying goodbye to situations or people, who have accompanied us for a while and that we felt very attached to.
The issues that are already developing and that have started for the last new moon in Aries, will be in evidence. This eclipse occurs in the angle Tauro-Escorpio that speaks to us of our deepest values and our need of security within ourselves. Both financial and emotional security, and particularly the issues of shared resources. For example shared mortgages, inheritance, etc. All those couples who pay things together, for example, it is possible that they are at a point of great stress in this regard, with issues to resolve. But the great Ttine in the Water element, between Neptuno-Chiron, Saturn and Ceres will help us see clearly what it is that we need at this time in our life and give us clues as how to get out there looking for it.
The good thing about Saturn, which I repeat is part of this eclipse significantly, is that it helps us to see clearly the Reality of our situation, therefore forcing us to walk with our feet securely on the ground. For all those who have been escaping reality and living in utopia, the blow can be hard.
The most positive side of this eclipse as it is with almost all eclipses is that they present us with opportunities that we did not see before and can open doors to something new and better.

Here finally comes the new moon in Aries from 2013, a unique astrological moment of the year, since it reinforces that energy that started in the Spring-Autumn Equinox on March 20.
The Sun and the Moon are in 20° Aries 41′, and give us the necessary impetus for the start of a new year, a new project, almost I would say “The” project of the year.
This is a special moment, in the sense that just 20 hours after that new moon peaks, the Moon continues to the sign of Taurus, giving the impulse of the Earth element, necessary to give way or materialize the project that is ready to jump into its full manifestation.
But this doesn’t end there.
This New Moon, take place in the company of Venus and Mars also in Aries at about 22 to 24 degrees respectively, further strengthening the need to realize our deepest desires in search of the reward for our efforts and on their way to the realization of our Fate. Aries reminds us that the impulse to action comes from far beyond the mental understanding. It drives the soul and the body follows, without the necessary awareness of the motivations of such action.
It is a pure energy, as if the soul give us a push in the back, saying: “OK! “NOW!”
Fears that come from Pluto in Capricorn vanish, and there is a certain freedom of action, something like the wind blowing in favour of the motion.
Saturn forms a T-cuadrante with Pallas, in opposition, and Juno, in square and as the apex.
The desire to remain faithful to a personal relationship is in conflict with the need for freedom of action and desire to be an individual and manifest our own individual Fate.
If you find yourself in a situation where the actions or position of others seems to impede your progress, then think again, if the obstacle is real or if you have allow its existence, to learn something about yourself.
Nothing can stand between you and your Fate, you can be sure of that, remember: the momentum towards the manifestation of your own destiny comes from far beyond this current life experience. Aries gives us the opportunity to renew the momentum and get us to be and learn, all that we have come to BE and LEARN.
Ceres from Cancer, sign in which she feels particularly confortable, naturally, slowly comes to the trine with Saturn and Neptune-Chiron, thus forming a Water Grand Trine, allowing emotions to flow in harmony, giving us a sense of going in the right direction, it kind of supports our action, and offering the possibility of healing old wounds.
Two days later, on the 12th, Pluto stations retrograde until September 20th, day in which it will come to the 4th square to Uranus at about 9° of Capricorn-Aries, the 3rd will be at about 11º on May 21st. A reminder that the global and personal situation that is giving us one of the most important lessons of life still standing, and this does not mean only difficult and negative situations. Simply all those changes that are being forced upon us, to redirect our lives and which demands great patience and self-analysis.
Enjoy this new impetus and new sudden courage which are there to help you take some decisions that even if they seem difficult, will have the protection of the Cosmos. Trust and let it flow.

Here we have one of the most powerful full moons of the year! 4 planets in Aries in opposition to the Moon in Libra! They are: The Sun (of course) in conjunction to Venus at 6 ° Aries exactly oppose the Moon at 6º Libra, Uranus at 8º Aries, which is at the moment in conjunction to the Sun and Venus and Mars at 11 degrees Aries, forming an exact square to Pluto in Capricorn 11th, forming a T-square to the Urano-Pluto square that is changing the world as I write and also our perception of it. All of this added to the already powerful energies of a full moon. The case of the collapse of the banking system of Cyprus, one of its most obvious manifestations, the threats from North Korea of “being ready for war”, another of the many. We are being reminded that this financial crisis, which is also a cultural values and religious crisis, has not concluded and that we still have many things to learn from it. As long as there are systems and people that resists change, we will continue in it.
On the 28th, the Sun, Venus and Uranus will be together at about 8 ° Aries! If you have planets in cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn)around that degree, pays attention to what happens on those days. The energy will also remind us, the need to free ourselves from that which oppresses us, that which impedes our advancement, yet, sometimes freeing ourselves doesn’t mean necessarily, “breaking up”, but it speaks to us about the possibilities of giving more freedom of action to ourselves, so that we can have more freedom of movement. Uranus, need freedom of action to create, if you feel depressed or restricted in some way, then you’ll probably reacts violently, unnecessarily.
As Mars continues in square to Pluto, the lack of space, physical or emotional can cause the beast in us, to erupt. But freedom is within us, we can change, without having to always blame the other. If we started the change, the other, will inevitably follow. If you are Leo or Sagittarius, then the creative impulse is impressive these days, yields to the inspiration and I encourage you to take risks. The only thing that can happen is that it doesn’t come out as you expected, in which case, you just try again.
With so many planets in Aries, the impulse is of new beginnings, projects that initiate a new stage in life, ideas that beg to be manifested from the inside of our psyche. As the Moon is in Libra, the idea of working with someone, is contrasted with the need to do things the way WE want them, at the speed that your body and soul are asking you, rather than looking and taking into consideration the needs of the other. Accepting or at least listening to the ideas of others, and other people’s points of view, is the real message of this Full Moon in Libra. We must also keep in mind that Aries is a masculine and powerful energy and we must recognize this inner power, whether you are male or female, and pay attention at the effect our decisions can have on others. The commitment and the settlement of accounts is the issue of this full moon.
Amanda Knox, an American student, Cancerian, returns to trial in Italy, after the Italian Supreme Court, has revoked his acquittal in the case of the murder of her roommate, Meredith Kercher, in Perugia, Umbria, in 2007, when the two lived there as students. Amanda Knox, already served 4 years of imprisonment in a prison in Perugia, during the time that her trial was taking place. She was finally acquitted in 2011 and returned to the US. It is possible that USA do not allow her extradition to Italy. In another mode, Tiger Woods, after a few years, returns decisively to his position as no. 1 in Golf. Another settling of scores.
Saturn and Pluto form a Yod with Jupiter in Gemini which means that both Saturn and Pluto, make 150 ° contacts to Jupiter, which extend the previous concept of reckoning, topics that they have to do with justice, or better still, with past injustices that have the opportunity for atonement. Or we could call it redemption.
At the end of this writing a girl in England died of an attack by 5 wild dogs. dogs, too, get affected by Full Moons.
Use this space to comment, on possible cases of redemption you know. Happy full moon all!

Although this Moon picks at around 21 ° PISCES 24′, is located between Venus and Mars, both in PISCES, but also with a “stellium” of planets in this sign including Mercury (still retrograde), Chiron and Neptune-of course. As we continue with Mercury in retrograde motion until the 18th, the message of this Lunation seems to invite us to an inner journey, in search of a way of deciphering our internal language. To take a look at this “soul” or “Observer” which exists within us, which inhabits our body, and demands expression and rectification.
Recognizing, Respecting and Accepting, automatically Corrects, not only our personal past, but also, our family and ancestral legacy. Awareness is our only salvation. The Piscean lesson, is that which helps us recognize the unity with All and Everyone, the divinity within us. If the tree suffers, I suffer, if my kids suffer, I suffer, if the rivers run dry, I suffer, if a woman gets raped on the other side of the world or stubbed, like yesterday in London (in a bus! like the girls in India), I suffer. But equally, if you succeed, I am happy, if a child is saved from hunger, I am happy, if our oceans are clean, I am happy, if the war ends, I’m happy, if you learn, I learn.
Neptune entered PISCES last year, for the first time in the life of all who are alive today, for the first time in what we consider to be its own sign, by the similarity of experience and lessons to be learn. This is a Lunation with 7 planets in this territory, where we learn about unconditional love, on other dimensions of human experience, which scientists are still far from explaining. We all know we connect with other dimensions, but we do not know how. We often know who’s calling when the phone rings, before answering, we recognize another soul, without even talking to them, or enter any space and we tremble without knowing why. We chose a therapist or an astrologer with whom we have incredible cosmic connections, without knowing how, but we all know that these things happen all the time. We hear music, or we can hum melodies that, in theory, we have not heard before and don’t understand the process.
Astrologers, smiled quietly, when we see the chart of our clients, and their connections to ours, by progression or transits. They arrive at the “right time” or “Kairos” (an undetermined period of time in which something important happens) and the experience is pure mutual learning process. Seen in this way, nothing in life seems a coincidence. If we don’t even dare to ask ourselves, if there’s a possibility of an hidden order in these apparent “constant” coincidences, we could be somewhat superficial or negligent or simply humanly ignorant. But many Piscean experiences are inexplicable in human terms, although, they are perfectly human experiences. We don’t have the elements yet, because of our obsession with separation and individuation to understand ‘how’s that we are all absolutely linked. Internet today provides a media by which we can begin to understand this concept.
It’s not easy being a Piscean, it takes almost an entire life, to understand that immeasurable wealth of knowledge and wisdom they have since they are born. That connection to the ineffable that gives them access to a knowledge indescribable and inexplicable. They are victims of their own wisdom, it is difficult to share or to integrate into everyday life.
Have you ever seen a pond full of fish?, they swim unceasingly from one side to another, in a constant and extraordinary choreography of crossings exchanges, forming the most magnificent designs, with an innate elegance, but never in a straight line. I could not imagine a better image of PISCES than that. Try asking a Pisces a question for which you need a concrete response and you will see. You will never get it. Directness or concreteness, does not seem to exist in the life of Pisces. Only in the arts they are able to express their eternal wandering through the emotional waters and creative madness. The concept of the drop in the ocean, constantly mixing and reforming the mass of water that exists because of it, and even then is not even appreciated for it. The drop could never explain the ocean, and the ocean without it would not exist. The drop is part of the storms, tsunamis, calm, waves and that constant motion, that’s where PISCES resides, trying to live a mortal life, so no wonder that their body or feet, hurt all the time. Ah! If PISCES could catch that moment, that belief, that creative impulse, every time, and express it and create, we would have found the door between the real and the ineffable. Then, how can we connect to that Ethereal, wise, divine world of Neptune and Pisces without dying in the attempt? How many Piscians have dwelled in alcoholism, drugs, barbiturics, madness?
Meditation, music, art, dance, tai-chi, painting, writing, prayer, they are some of the roads that can be traveled to express the world of Neptune, even for a moment, but with the conviction that they must always come back to what we call real, since while we are alive, we have other things to do.
Saturn in Scorpio, forms a trine to Chiron and Mercury, use the power of this lunation to meditate on these issues, to find yourself in your own Ocean and allow yourself to visit the ineffable trusting that Saturn, will help you return safe and sound and keep in touch with what is real. Jupiter is in square to Mercury retrograde, so make sure that your optimism has real bases and if you decide to take any major risks, you have a cushion where to fall back on.
The Sun and the Moon are in square to Ceres, reminding us that we must feed our soul, as well as our body, and that we must respect those who know more than us and listen.
Mars enters Aries a few hours after the Moon picks, and Venus will enter the first fire sign on the 22nd, a few days before the Full Moon in Libra on the 27th.
With Venus and Mars in Aries, our intention is strengthened and suddenly we understand that we can launch ourselves in search of what we love, another person or a new project. Time to begin again, the impulse of spring is very strongly felt with these personal planets in Aries, this is the true beginning of the astrological year. An inexplicable force invades us and reminds us that every day we can start again. Every day an adventure begins and anything can us to it.
Once again we recognize that we have more of one chance and maybe we have been blind to many of them, by victimizing ourselves, by insisting in doing things the same way, even if everything reminds us that we must change. Between the 23rd and 27th, just in time for the next full moon, Mars will align with Uranus in Aries, activating the famous current Urano-Pluto square. Cardinal signs here have another opportunity to rethink the issues that occupies them at present in the past months or even years, another opportunity to seek a suitable possible solution. Venus will also pass through this point, from the 28th, and we will have the opportunity to experience the difference of these two planetary energies and their unique message. Pay attention to what occurs these days from 26 to 31 and comments in this space, your experiences, if you feel like it.
If you ever had a Piscean experience, your life has changed, by this I mean what commonly call, a peak experiences, i.e. those moments when you can really live and experience the unity with everything. Whether watching a sunset, a Sunrise, during a walk in the mountains or perhaps sitting comfortably on the sofa in your living room, meditating, singing, dancing. Normally this experiences are stimulated by the contact with Nature and then suddenly we understand everything.
We are living very Piscean times and have the opportunity to connect with this concept that we are all ONE and we can see how we are all affected in our unique and special ways, by the same stimulus, and similar situations.
On the 18th, Mercury will station direct to resume its forward motion, to leave PISCES finally on April 13th. This is a brilliant opportunity to defy the gloom of the ‘crisis’ and encourage us to risk and to initiate new projects. Open doors and let the sunlight of spring or autumn enter your soul.

On the 19th of this month, Saturn stations retrograde at 11th Scorpio 32′, until July 8th, when it stations direct at 4 ° Scorpio 49′. This is the only retrograde  of Saturn this year.
Mercury, on the other hand, turns retrograde 3 times a year and each retrograde motion lasts for about 3 and a half weeks. The 23rd of this month, makes its first retrograde cycle of this year. The second will be on June 26, until July 20 and the third and last, will be October 21 through November 10.
Mercury (which really means or derives from the word merchant), the Messenger of the gods or Hermes, for the Greeks, as well as being responsible for carrying the souls to the Underworld, to Pluto, was the one to be believed to have written the history of the gods. This little planet, almost about to be swallowed by the Sun, governs the affairs of the  3rd house of the birth chart: communication, the internet,  everything that we use to communicate, phones, writing, poetry, the left side of our brain, our ability to reason and understand. Mercury has been in pre “shadow” face  from February 8, which marks the beginning of this retrograde motion about to start, which will last until March 18. Its after shadow face, after stationing direct will last until April 6. Mercury makes this retrograde in the sign of PISCES, surrounded by a stellium of planets is the sign of the fishes that swim in different directions, with Neptune, the Sun, Chiron, and Mars which is in conjunction to Mercury, aspect that will be exact the 25-26, just in time for the Full Moon.
These two very different retrograde motions of Saturn and Mercury, have something in common, and if you look at the area of your birth chart, where  these retrogrades occur, you’ll find issues that need your REvision, Re-consideration or even complete Re-novacion. Sometimes a RE-paration is not enough, there are situations that must be RE – built, RE – invented, to obtain the desired results. The retrograde of Saturn has to do with Scorpio and the House 8, in addition to the personal theme, depending on what House of our birth chart is affected, or is the actual territory  of this RE-verse motion of Saturn. As I have said many times before, the issues of  the 8th House, as well as sexuality, transformation and death, which are more abstract concepts, are also our debts, our dependence on other people’s money, mortgages, inheritance, unemployment, credit cards, pensions, etc. As for Mercury, this very important and first retrograde of the year, takes place in the sign of Pisces and therefore the archetype and territory of the 12th House . What is that which we believe separates us from the rest? What does it really mean “secret enemies”?. As the second House , represent the possessions of the representative of the  1st house, in the same fashion the 1st House,  is the possessions of the representative of the House 12, and who is represented in this House? What really possess us? Our ancestors, our culture, our connection with everything that existed before us, where we come from and what we trying of “RE-pair”. What is that which possess us without us even being aware of? Our beliefs, our mentality colored by the culture that grew up in, everything that we do because “It has always been done that way…”, everything we do without  even asking ourselves if we really agree with it. What are those voices that we unconsciously listen to  even when we sleep and condition every decision we make?
These two retrogrades, by two very different planets, that occur almost at the same time,  mark a territory of our psyche, a situation we must RE-evaluate, to see if we are being, who we really are, or a simple expression of family and cultural conditioning. And while with the retrograde Mercury, we can expect losses of mobiles, hard drives, important information (format all important info), that email, which we should reply to and can’t find, etc, etc. Yet  the most important thing is what we must find within ourselves, to be able to strengthen our consciousness and our inner wisdom.
On 25 February  we have the full moon  in Virgo at about 7 ° 24′, since the Sun has already entered PISCES from the 19th. Venus enters PISCES, a few hours later.
This Moon forms a T-square with Jupiter at  7º  Gemini 28′. The Sun is in trine to Saturn and the Moon, of course,  in Sextile. The Moon also forms a trine to Pluto. These are very interesting times for the Water signs, Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces, and also for Virgo. A more philosophical view of the current situation is possible, with an ability to REflect on current situations. An intense desire to RE-consider invades us and we understand that although we sometimes are in the hands of these powerful energies, (as in the case of Oscar Pistorius), we must do what we can to FORGIVE, and above all BE THANKFUL for what we have. Piscean energy often leads to victimization, therefore consciousness of our responsibility in the development of our Fate, is vital at the moment. The end of the reign of this Pope, is an incredible representation of a Full Moon in the Pisces-Virgo angle, now that Neptune is in Pisces for the first time in our lives. Fist Pope to REsign, sounds like a contradiction in terms, (RE-SIGN and yet he’s leaving), in the past 600 years or so.
So, what is coming to an end in your life, what is that you need to RE-vise, to RE-pair, to RE-structure?
Although things do slow down in retrogrades, be sure to get the best our of the indications of the Cosmos, and REvitalize your life. RE-engage with it!

The descent into hell for an extraordinary athlete that reached the Olympus only few month ago!

Although I am not sure about the source of this time of birth, this 10:30 am, makes a lot of sense, still, we are humbled by the hand of the Lord of Karma (Saturn) in the chart of this young man.
With Saturn going through his MC and all his planets in Scorpio, including Venus, Pluto and Mercury, for the first time since he was born as it prepares for its 1st Return, in the next couple of years, this man with an extraordinary will power to overcome his physical limitations and having succeeded at it, finds himself literally in hell, as Saturn passes over these planets getting ready for the beginning of his retrograde which starts on the 19th, and that will take him back over this stellium in Scorpio. Pluto, by transit, probably makes a quincunx to his Moon, although, without the time of birth is difficult to know exactly.
His progressed Sun begins a long conjunction to natal Juno, goddess that present us with the predicaments of maintaining a relationship in spite of infidelities and power struggles.
Jupiter by transit, also opposes natal Saturn, activating even more the archetype of encountering our own personal Karma and the result of our actions of the past.

His natal Sun in Scorpio right at the midpoint between Uranus and Pluto and with the progressed Moon activating Uranus exactly by a quincunx, we can imagine that something really powerful erupted from within, which was obviously impossible to control, as it is always when the energies of this powerful planets is released. Natal Mars in the first house and in square to the Sun, describes his possible quick temper and competitiveness which has taken to where he is now in the sporting world.

Here goes one the first articles on this most fascinating (from an astrological point of view), dramatic case, which has ruined the lives of two very promising young people.

if this is the right time of birth, with Pluto by transit, just delving into his 12th house, we can deduce the extraordinary soul searching he’ll do as from now. He probably met Reeva, when his progressed Moon contacted by opposition with Pluto in its transit through Capricorn.

‘He has descended into hell’: Oscar Pistorius ‘on suicide watch’ after being charged with girlfriend’s murder

In tears: Pistorius weeps as he appears before judge

Blade Runner Oscar Pistorius has been placed on suicide watch after being accused of murdering his model girlfriend in cold blood.

Police in South Africa are said to have concerns over the Paralympian’s mental state after he sobbed uncontrollably during his first court appearance yesterday.

The 26-year-old is charged with shooting 30-year-old Reeva Steenkamp at his luxury home in the early hours of Valentine’s Day.

He was refused bail and is reportedly being monitored closely in his police cell amid fears he is struggling to cope with his emotions.

A source said: “Oscar feels as though he has descended into hell. He is absolutely devastated.”

During a preliminary hearing in Pretoria yesterday, the court heard Steenkamp was blasted four times – in the head, arm, waist and one bullet smashed through her fingers as she put her hand up to defend herself.

It was also revealed that, according to some reports, she was shot through the bathroom door.

Pistorius looked dazed and red-eyed as he entered the dingy and sweltering Court C from an adjoining cell at the Pretoria magistrates complex.

Tears: Pistorius wept uncontrollably throughout the court hearing

Shoulders heaving and tears streaming down his face, he cut a lonely figure – surrounded by a scrum of reporters, court staff and members of the public straining to get a glimpse of him.

Some who could not get inside pressed their faces to the windows of the courtroom door.

Pistorius, in a black suit, crumpled blue shirt and black tie with white stripes, sank deeper into his seat, hands pressed tight together as if in prayer.

The red-bricked room with its broken clock and faulty fluorescent lighting was a sharp contrast to the plush surroundings of his suburban home in the exclusive gated community of the Silver Lakes estate, where Reeva met her horrific death.

Pistorius did not speak an no plea was entered as a court official stated: “This is case number C13/255/13.

“It is the state versus Oscar Lennard Pistorius, arrested on one count of murder.”

Chief magistrate Desmond Nair asked: “Is the crown arguing pre-meditated murder?”

One of the prosecution team confirmed that they were.

Still Pistorius wept.

The 40-minute hearing had attracted unprecedented attention as crowds gathered to see the double amputee, born with no bones in his lower legs, who had become a symbol of hope and determination for millions around the world.

Scuffles erupted outside as people fought to get a better view.

category_swim_with_dolphinsYesterday afternoon, Barcelona time, Mars moved into Pisces and this morning at about 3:30 in the morning, Venus entered Aquarius.

Mars the God of war, the hero, the warrior, soldier, sportsman, defender of the Earth and Homeland, the evolutionary need to manifest our desires not only in this lifetime, but several lives. PISCES, ruled by Neptune and Jupiter, speaks to us about the longings of the collective, about the ethereal, about that, we call imagination, the collective unconscious, about that part of our psyche that recognizes the union with the whole, defying any kind of scientific explanation (Neptune), about the source of all of our knowledge.

PISCES represents the end of a cycle, something that concludes, something which is completed and is getting prepared to begin again, with the flow of experiences gained in the journey ending. Mars in PISCES, takes place every two years, the last time was in February 2011. Do you remember what was happening in your life then?

Mars in PISCES awakens the anger and rage of the collective, the fears, the frustrated desires of the group.

People who identify with the victim, will be reminded of their own insecurities and resentments. Suddenly, it is difficult to be clear and precise about anything and as the boundaries blur and slowly disappear, we must learn to assert ourselves. Ancestral fears manifest themselves in many ways in our everyday life and it is very important to understand that many of our anxieties, have more to do with our ancestral memories that with our current reality. PISCES reminds us that we are intimately linked to all that, which has existed before us.

On the creative side, Mars in PISCES inspires us to express the irrational, our unlimited imagination, the Ethereal, the needs of our soul and for Cancer and Scorpio, this is a good month, when they will be full of vigor and energy to perform any kind of work that requires great stamina and above all creativity.

The mutable signs: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and PISCES will be more irritable than normal, especially when others do not understand their own urgencies and needs. But Mars will only make us irritable if the flow of energy with which we are connecting now, is not expressed in its totality. This is a good opportunity to increase physical activity, and risking doing things that normally we won’t do simply because we consider it too much effort.

Sports like swimming with dolphins is a good choice for this transit if you live in a place where this is possible.

Monday 4 Mars connect with Neptune and what a great opportunity to understand those impulses that sometimes make us do things that we later judge in ourselves and repent of. Take advantage of your motives, remember that Saturn is in Scorpio and that this transit remind us that OUR things are those we have earned, with our own efforts. Even so it is a great time for creativity and above all, everything that has to do with photography, films, music, audiovisual, fashion. Let your imagination fly, but keep the soul tied down to your deepest values.

The 8, 9 and 10, Mars will be connecting with Mercury and Chiron in PISCES, and with Jupiter in Gemini, perhaps the time has come to visit that alternative doctor, that chiropractor, you have been thinking of, for the past few months. If you study it is possible that a more holistic understanding will be revealed to you. Listen to your soul and if it hurts, speak about it or write about it, connects with someone who can listen to you and contain you.

15 and 16, it will connect by trine to Saturn and suddenly the intention becomes clearer, more efficiently and we would probably be called to pay debts, to fix situations that we postponed for too long.

26, Just as Venus enters PISCES, Mars connects with Mercury again, but this time with the latter in retrograde motion; we should perhaps review things and decisions we have made in the last few days, we have another opportunity to look and analyze better options.

Mars will be in PISCES until March 11.

Venus in Aquarius, drives us towards what is different, towards the eccentric, the scientific side of things, that, which breaks away from the traditional, to quantum physics, spontaneous, strange thing, and above all subjects where emotions do not reign supreme. Aquarius is too interested in discovering the not so obvious, to waste time analyzing the obvious.

The 10 and 11 Venus will make contact by square to Saturn in Scorpio, time to resolve situations that have to do with ownership, with sexuality, with money and the possessions of others. Unemployment, mortgages, secret sexual desires, none of these have to be negative, is simply another opportunity to understand an innerly denied dimension.

Venus in Aquarius connects from the mental, rather than from the emotional, it falls for the what is challenging and unusual.

Venus in Aquarius can, curiously, be terribly loyal and faithful, if given the space they need to explore and investigate what they consider different and fascinating.

Teamwork benefits from this transit of Venus through the sign of the water bearer and suddenly, we understand that it is more advantageous to operate from a group with which we share ideas, than from the individual. The solo work can be very rewarding, but when efforts are shared, we benefit from the creativity of others and the product can be much more satisfactory. Line dancing is another form of expression of Venus in Aquarius.

A more emotionally detached vision of our situation is possible under Venus in Aquarius, allowing us to see clearer, the point of view of others, for the benefit of all parties involved.

Libra and Gemini are the major beneficiaries of this transit that only lasts 1 month, and those with jobs that involve technology, you will feel more comfortable than usual, doing your work. Games and relationships through the internet, will be the modality of the next few weeks.

Write in your blogs, send emails to all those that you often think of, but never have the time to write to. Contrary to what many preach, communication through the Internet can be very important and rewarding.

Venus enters PISCES on February 25.

This full moon in Leo, seems to close or add a vital ingredient to the theme begun for the new moon in Cancer on January 11th. We know that when the full moon falls on Leo it is because the Sun is in Aquarius.
Last night, in one of my classes one of my students brought me the transcript of the acceptance speech of Barack Obama for his last inauguration as President. Barack Obama, a Leo with  Aquarius Ascendant, began the speech citing a portion of the Declaration of Independence of his country which reads as follows:
“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, which are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness”
There is an air of Leo-Aquarius in these words, especially in the declaration that “all men are created equal” (Aquarius) and with special talents, unique to each one, to be developed in “the pursuit of happiness” (Leo). The Leo-Acuario drama, talks about how to be special and develop our personal and unique talents and at the same time, part of a group, a team, which benefits all and also each member thereof. How to join a group and be part of a whole without losing our individuality. Obama adds: “preserve our individual freedom, in the end, requires collective action”.
Sometimes I think that movies are a perfect example of this. It requires a very good team (director, writer, actors, lighting technicians, musicians, etc) to make a good film. If you then get a very good movie then everyone involved shine therefore.
This full moon in Leo, formes a T-square with Saturn in Scorpio. This is a reminder, that our freedom ends where someone else’s starts . There are  boundaries in life that are undeniable and if we don’t respect them  or apply them in our life, then life will  remind us of them, all the time. If you want to jump from a very high mountain paragliding, you must first learn how to do it. If you want to spend 10 hours in the gym and you are over  60 years old, you ought take care of your heart. If you want to be the best pianist in the world you must play piano for many hours, and like  Malcolm Gladwell says, at least 10,000 hours, before you may call yourself a good pianist. Saturn constantly reminds us  that we are not gods, we have limits and also the fact that everything requires hard work, to become good, even love. Especially love.
Venus in Capricorn is in  a to  Eris in Aries, and this seems to remind that the exclusivity in love, is very difficult. That we can not be “so special” for anyone, so that he/she never finds  anybody more interesting, or more beautiful than us. There is always someone better than us, but there is never another equal to us.
What makes us special and unique, is not being the most beautiful, the most interesting, or the most intelligent, what makes us unique, is our own combination of all this. Nobody has to offer exactly the same thing. What makes us special and unique is daring to be who we really are. With our talents, difficulties, inner demons, limitations, and vision of life. He or she who carries his own baggage  with dignity and confidence, with the conviction that he or she also has something to offer to the whole, now, that’s sexy.! The wrath of Eris is toned down with Acceptance and Humility.
Uranus in Aries also forms a conjunction to Pallas in Aries and at the same time, the two of them form a square to Pluto in Capricorn. The issue of  independence and the freedom to exercise our rights is one of the reminders of this combination. Pallas connects us with the old struggle between the masculine and the feminine. The choice of celibacy as defense or “revenge” against the opposite sex or the struggle for equality in the relationship. Power struggles with other women, with female bosses, teachers, are exacerbated by this contact to Pluto. Still, Pallas-Urano, form a trine  to the Moon and a sextile to the Sun, therefore, the struggle for independence and personal freedom, may not encounter so much resistance. It could help us discover that the resistance is in our own mind.
Jupiter stations direct in Gemini on January 30, which will bring a deep sense of optimism and faith, it may bring the rewards of efforts and hard work of the past. Jupiter has been in  square to Chiron, for the past 6 months , suggesting the road to follow in search of the desired healing. Something within us, pushes us to seek, beyond the neighborhood, for the right answer, one that shows us the path to follow.
Fixed signs, will be most affected by this lunation, especially with the passage of Mars by Aquarium, which has added a bit of stress to Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.
Feel free to comment on your experience of this lunation.
